Welcome

Based in Yorkshire, the Landcliffe stud was founded by Walter Bedford Senior and sons, and has been breeding pedigree horses since the early sixties. William Bedford and family have continued the stud after Walter retired in the early eighties.

The aim is to promote and breed horses to the highest possible standard, to ensure the future of the great horse. As well as standing stallions at stud, we have supplied top quality horses to breeders all over the world.
